Creative, imaginative and varied large selection of stunning images for you to treasure for life, whilst adding to the fun of the day in an unobtrusive way to ensure a stress free experience. We go to great lengths to plan your big day but fully expect to adapt to changes in the weather, additional photos, etc.

.

All selected images are uploaded to your ‘home-page’ in both colour and B&W and often a few special effects to give everybody an idea of the many possibilities that can be applied to the images, (typically >400 images with reception coverage).

.

A pre-wedding shoot is also available as an option, so that you can personalise your ‘home-page’ with some fun images prior to your Wedding day and to provide a chance to become familiar with how things will be on the day so that you will be relaxed, comfortable and therefore more natural with the cameras around you.

.

We offer prints, canvasses, Wedding albums, coffee table and Italian Storybook Wedding albums and a variety of other products. Please take a look through some of our examples of the many Weddings, (now over 150) that we have had the pleasure to capture over the years.

About the SWPP & BPPA

Established in 1988 under the Chairmanship of Derek Avery, the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers was founded to service the needs of professional wedding and portrait photographers, whether in full or part time occupations.

Founded at much the same time, the British Professional Photographers Associates under the leadership of Nigel Greenstreet, were working with similar goals but encompassed a broader range of photographers. Early in January 2000, the now Chief Executive of SWPP Philip Jones, was delighted to announce the merger between these two prominent organisations, under the umbrella of the SWPP.

In a joint statement they believed that the new society would form one of the strongest photographic organisations in the UK, and their commitment to improving already high standards would be of benefit to all. The Society has seen its membership grow rapidly over the last year, with not only UK members but international photographers have also been keen to associate themselves with SWPP and BPPA. A testament to the success of the Society as a whole.

Photographer Biography

From the mid 70's photographing bands, through the 80's and early 90's travelling throughout Europe and Eastern Europe learning rapidly with his Nikon EM & FM camera outfits with a multitude of lenses and accessories. Using 35mm slides for great quality and less cost then prints. Biggest cultural experience was to Sri Lanka where the distinctly different geographic areas were full of very stimulating imagery producing a diverse array of photographic material. In just 3 weeks he took over 1300 photographs.

In 2001 with the technological advancements of the digital age, he transitioned to digital, (Canon) and has never looked back. He still retains his Nikon Em & FM cameras. He is an active member of SWPP & BPPA and had work exhibited in July 05, 07, 09,11 & 2013.

The fundamentals remain the same. You still “take the best possible photographs and don't rely on adjusting things afterwards with software".

He takes time to analyse each and every selected photograph to ensure it is presented at its best. Numerous software options are now available and can be utilised to meet the needs of a PR agency or customer requirements or used to compose 'picture-in-picture' compositions for wedding albums.

In addition to Weddings and Studio work he worked freelance as a commercial photographer for 'Oxfordshire Living' magazine, which presented a wide variety of commercial assignments, as well as those from numerous PR agencies.

In spite of NEVER having a failure in the field he still carries at least three cameras and a backup for everything and spreads images over numerous memory cards to reduce risk of losing any data. On return to the office, he immediately backs up all the original images to three separate disk drives.

Data is also archived to DVD to make it impossible to be damaged by any PC virus attack. He only ever works on copies of the original photographs. If you lost or spilt coffee over your wedding album or prints in the future you will be able to request re-prints.

A wedding assignment was also attended by the BBC as part of a new documentary. The location was particularly beautiful with many opportunities for great images. He took approx 1760 photographs and, (as with most of his clients) created a home page comprising the different parts of the special day to make it easy for friends and family to view on-line.

Word of mouth recommendations are ensuring a healthy number of bookings up to 3 years in advance.
